10 Dog Stage Race
Dogs:
Mushers will be allowed to designate a pool of 14 dogs to choose their teams from during the race. The maximum team size each stage is 10 dogs, minimum team size each day is 6 dogs.

Mileage:
Leg 1: 23 miles
Leg 2: 23 miles
Leg 3: 15 miles

6 Dog Stage Race
Dogs:
Mushers will be allowed to designate a pool of 8 dogs to choose their teams from during the race. The maximum team size each stage is 6 dogs, minimum team size each day is 4 dogs.

Leg 1: 23 miles
Leg 2: 23 miles
Leg 3: 15 miles

ONLINE

8 PM - Virtual Musher Meeting (Mandatory for all registered mushers)

Friday & Saturday March 6 & 7:  Stage 1 & 2:
Events to be held at Pittsburg Ridge Runners Clubhouse unless otherwise noted

8 AM - Mushers Report to staging area
9 AM - Race Start
10 AM - Noon - Watch dog teams finish.
Noon - Lunch @ Clubhouse - Open to the public!
 

Sunday March 8 -  Stage 3:
Events to be held at Pittsburg Ridge Runners Clubhouse unless otherwise noted

8 AM - Mushers Report to staging area
9 AM - Race Start
10 AM - Noon - Watch dog teams finish
1 Hour after last team finishes - Awards Ceremony

Race course:  Multi recreational used snowmobile groomed trails. The trail will not be closed to other users.  Strongly encouraged that lead dogs stay to the right and wear something bright, mandatory that all drivers wear a brightly colored jacket/vest.

Race Rules & Mandatory Gear: Each sled should have a working brake, snow hook & sled bag. To be carried on the musher: Knife & Fire Starter. To be carried in your sled bag: working headlamp. View more rules here.
